Dispensing a glass of water

After touching the “glass” button and then the main button, the device dispenses a glass of water.

Water filtering system

4Swiss WFF021 includes a 5-stage water filtration system, grouped in three independent, replaceable cartridges.

Sediment Filter

Removes microparticles up to 5㎛ such as rust, earth, sand, dust, microplastics and oxidized impurities. Replacement every 3-4 months or 1200 l.

Natural Plus Filter

3-stage filtration system: microgrid removes impurities, activated carbon has antibacterial properties, and ceramic balls enrich water with marine minerals (Ca, Mg, K, Fe, Mn, P, Si). Replacement every 5-6 months or 2400 l. For very hard water, the ion exchange resin inside the cartridge is accelerated biodegradable and more frequent replacement may be necessary.

Nano Positive Filter

0.01~0.001㎛ NF membrane removes heavy metals, chlorine and volatile compounds, as well as 99.99% of viruses and bacteria (E. coli, Staphylococcus aureus, Pseudomonas aeruginosa). Replacement every 9-12 months or 3600 l.

Easily removable tray

Frequently Asked Questions

Is it difficult to connect the filter? Does it take a long time? Do I need to drill a hole in the kitchen counter?

The device is connected to the water supply network with a 6mm plastic tube. It is a special type of tube for filter systems, it is also connected with e.g. refrigerators with ice maker, and also uses e.g. in aquaristics. It is a special, safe high-pressure system. If there is no gap between the countertop and the wall in the kitchen, then a small hole with a diameter of only 6mm should be drilled in the countertop.

Included with the filter is about 3m of tube as well as a connector for a standard 3/8” hose. So we unscrew the hose from the connection in the wall, put the connector on, screw the hose back on, and additionally plug the tube into the connector to power the filter. The coupling has a filter circuit shut-off valve.

If you have typical 3/8’’ hoses, everything you need to install the device is included. Except for the frog pliers. If you have other connectors, you will need reductions, e.g. 3/8’’ by ½’’ (available in plumbing stores). The assembly time should not exceed 15 minutes including drilling the countertop.

Installation instructions for the valve:

Note: Before starting the installation, turn off the main valve of the water in the house/apartment, and then unscrew the hose supplying cold water to the kitchen faucet.

• Screw the valve to the cold water connection in the wall.
• Screw the water supply hose to the faucet.
• Place a water supply tube in the valve to the home water filtration system. Connect the other end of the tube to the device.
• Open the main water valve in the house/apartment, then the water supply valve (4).

How mineralized is the water with your device? Each bottled water has a range of minerals. Do you have documentation confirming the saturation of minerals?

As for bottled water, it comes from a specific source with specific, tested parameters. The operation of the WFF021 filter does not completely demineralize the water and then saturate it with minerals again. Therefore, the amount of minerals at the output of the filter mainly depends on what water the filter will receive at the input. In the filtration process, harmful chemicals, particles, but not minerals will be removed. The filter also softens water to some extent (removes calcium compounds), but this is not its basic function. The Natural Plus cartridge has ceramic balls that saturate the water with marine minerals. Depending on the degree of saturation of the water undergoing filtration, it will take minerals to varying degrees.

In summary, the final composition of water will vary depending on where the filter is installed, so it is impossible to determine one universal composition of water flowing from the filter. Therefore, these parameters can be given for specific mineral/source water, but will not be given for the tap water filtration system.
