The process of creating the ENDORFY Solum 2 microphone started with a clean slate. The design team created this construction from scratch, joining forces with the German design studio. The result of this cooperation is simple and thoughtful form, which looks professional in any environment. The device combines cardioid directionality characteristics with ease of use. Working on this model means full control over every detail, from the first sketches in the design office to the final product that goes to the desk.

Clean sound with details

Thanks to sound recording with 24 bit resolution at 96 kHz sampling, the microphone records a clear voice full of small accents. Inside the housing works precisely tuned capacitive capsule. Cardioid directionality characteristics focus on the sounds coming from the front, which supports speech exposure and reduces noise capture from other sides. The equipment works well in games, during online meetings and in the studios of novice creators. The frequency response ranges from 20 to 20 000 Hz and the voice provided sounds good when speaking from a distance of 10 to 25 cm.

Multi-layered protection

The cleanliness of the recorded paths protects the set of connected elements protecting against interference. Each type of unwanted noise has a separate shielding layer. Metal pop-filter blocks air gusts accompanying the pronunciation of explosive sounds. At the same time, the author's anti-shock basket together with the built-in capsule shock absorber reduce ground vibration and key clatter. The cooperation of these modules means that the device records only planned sounds.

Control at hand

Practical operation is the strength of this model. At the very top of the case there is a touch panel, which allows you to instantly and quietly mute the recording without clicking on programs. At the base there is a rotating knob, which is used to regulate the sensitivity of registration. The level of the settings entered indicates discreet LEDs on the upper panel. Smooth control of parameters allows you to adjust the volume to the prevailing conditions in seconds, without having to look for sliders in the operating system of your computer or console.

Original anti-shock basket

The open design of the anti-shock basket exposes the body of the housing, giving the whole visual lightness. Traditional rubber cables have been replaced with rubber shock absorbers, which dampen vibrations and maintain an aesthetic appearance. The ENDORFY Solum 2 microphone attaches without the use of screws or tools. The smooth form makes it easy to remove and insert the device into the basket.

Detachable metal pop-filter

Removable pop-filter weakens explosive sounds, helping to keep the sound clear while speaking. When mounted, creates an even circle with the anti-shock basket, which consistently closes the shape of the device. The open design does not cover the face, so the equipment looks good in the frame during live streaming and video recordings. The filter does not need to be permanently mounted – it can be detached at any time to change the appearance of the station or modify the distance from the mouth when required by the selected recording technique.

Ready to go right away

The Plug and Play system allows you to start recording right out of the box. The included USB-C - USB-C cable with a length of 2,5 meters allows you to freely conduct the connection on your desk. The microphone works with Windows, macOS, Android and iOS and PlayStation 4 and 5 consoles without installing drivers. The device also works with most smartphones and tablets with OTG function and USB-C port. The included adapter from USB-C to USB-A allows you to connect the device to computers that do not have USB-C sockets.

High quality workmanship

Solid metal construction shows high rigidity, which gives a sense of communion with durable equipment. Heavy base equipped with a special cable pass securely stands on the countertop and stabilizes the whole during hand movements.
