SMART CHARGER 2 is an electronic rectifier for charging 6 and 12 volt batteries:

• WET (liquid - acidic),
• GEL (gel),
• MF (maintenance-free),
• AGM (with fiberglass mat)

The rectifier has a microprocessor control system, the entire charging process is fully automatic. Once fully charged, the device will activate the backup function and automatically resume charging when the voltage on the battery drops.

The 7-step charging process ensures optimal charging conditions for the battery. The automatic control system will adjust each of the 7 charging stages to the correct charging of the battery:

• STEP 1 - Diagnostics - analyzes the battery and checks whether it can accept charging current, prevents charging the damaged battery
• STEP 2 - Pre-charging - low voltage batteries are pre-charged with low current, this ensures longer battery life
• STEP 3 - Msoft start - rectifier gradually increases the charging current from reaching full charging current
• STEP 4 - CC1, CC2, CC3 (Constant Current - constant current) - fast charging. Charging current is set automatically depending on the state of charge of the battery
• STEP 5 - CV (Constant Voltage - constant voltage charging) - charging to a voltage of 14.6V. Designed to charge batteries almost fully charged. Will finish charging the battery when reaching 14.6V
• STEP 6 - Resting - completion of the charging process when the battery is fully charged
• STEP 7 - Restoring - automatic battery monitoring. The charging process will resume after the voltage drops on the battery below 12.8V (for 12V batteries). The rectifier will restart the charging process starting from stage 1.

The device is equipped with protection: thermal, against the formation of sparks at the pole terminals, against short circuit of poles, overload and reverse polarity.
