Description

BCS-L-EIP18FCR3L3-AI1 - Dome megapixel camera, dedicated to work in the IP monitoring system. Belonging to the NightColor series, it is able to generate colorful, high-quality video even in very low-light conditions. This makes it perfect for places where color monitoring is required, 24 hours a day.

A characteristic feature of the BCS-L-EIP18FCR3L3-AI1 model is the support of NightColor technology. The camera is characterized by high sensitivity, thanks to which it is able to generate colorful, high-quality video in very low light conditions. This is possible thanks to a high-sensitivity image sensor and a bright lens with an F1.0 aperture. The minimum illuminance for a colour image is only 0.008 lux (F1.6).

A characteristic feature of the BCS-L-EIP18FCR3L3-AI1 camera is the built-in IR illuminator and LED illuminator. In standard operating mode, when the camera is operating in night mode, the IR illuminator is turned on. When the camera detects human movement, it activates the LED illuminator and generates a color image. Thanks to this, the video material at key moments of surveillance is of the highest quality, which can help identify the intruder.

The effective range of IR illuminator and LED illuminator is up to 30 m.

The camera is also equipped with a mechanical sliding infrared filter (ICR). In day mode, it is active and reflects a significant part of infrared radiation. Thanks to this, the generated image retains high quality and natural colors. When the camera switches to night mode, the filter is automatically removed from the transducer. Sensitivity parameters are improved and it is possible to work with artificial IR lighting.

A standard fixed focal length 2.8 mm (F1.6) lens was also used to build the camera. It provides a wide viewing angle of 111° horizontally / 56° vertically, thanks to which the camera works great in the implementation of the general preview function. Placed in the corner of a relatively small room should be able to observe them whole.

An additional advantage of cameras with fixed-focal lenses is usually better image quality, compared to their counterparts with adjustable lenses. They also have a more attractive price.

The camera has a built-in WEB Server and a fast ethernet network interface, thanks to which you can establish a remote connection with it. A remote user can e.g. View the image from the camera "live" or play recordings saved on the microSD card. It provides a large tonal span, allowing you to observe the plan on which light and dark objects are located at the same time. Thanks to it, it is possible to effectively observe objects placed on a bright background or objects in the shadows when the rest of the plans are well lit.

The WDR function is irreplaceable during sunny days when it is very bright. Thanks to it, the camera can be mounted, e.g. inside the building and turn towards the glass entrance. The camera has a built-in microSD card slot, with a maximum capacity of 256 GB. The card serves as a backup storage space that can be used to create local copies of recordings. In addition, the camera with the card used can work fully autonomously, creating a miniature monitoring system. In such a system, all recordings are saved on the card and it is supported from the level of the web browser.

Please note that microSD cards have a limited number of writes. With continuous recording, even the highest quality card will stop working after a relatively short period.
