ROYAL CANIN® Medium Puppy dry food is specially formulated to fully cover the nutritional needs of medium breed puppies. The food is intended for puppies aged 2 to 12 months, who after the end of growth will reach a body weight of 11-25 kg.

The growth period in puppies is a time of huge changes. During the period of intensive growth, puppies of medium breeds need the optimal amount of calories and nutrients to develop healthily. During this time, the skeleton, musculature, sense organs and nervous system of the puppy develop. It is also the period when antibodies passed with maternal colostrum begin to disappear, which is why the puppy’s body needs the right amount of protein to develop its own immune system.

The recipe of the food contains a complex with proven effectiveness, including vitamins C and E, supporting the natural defense mechanisms of puppies while their immune system is still developing.

The food has been enriched with omega 3 fatty acids (including DHA), which have a beneficial, scientifically proven effect on supporting healthy brain development in puppies.

Thanks to the combination of beneficial prebiotics (such as FOS, MOS and beet pulp) and highly digestible proteins, ROYAL CANIN® Medium Puppy supports a healthy balance of the intestinal microbiota, which also affects proper digestion.

In addition, the energy content of the feed is optimal to cover the energy needs of growing medium breed dogs.

The ROYAL CANIN® Medium Puppy has been specially adapted to the jaw size of medium breed puppies. The croquettes are large enough to encourage your dog to chew on the food, giving them a mechanical cleaning effect that supports oral hygiene.

Did you know that puppy nutritional needs change during the growth period? After the age of 12 months, medium breed dogs need a diet that is adapted to the nutritional needs of an adult dog. During this time, you should switch to medium breed adult dog food, e.g. ROYAL CANIN® Medium Adult, available in the form of dry or wet food (pieces in sauce).
