2,4 GHz connection and Bluetooth

Discover enhanced performance with the Q3 Max Keyboard, featuring a 2,4 GHz wireless connection and a fast 1000Hz polling frequency for fast use. It also offers Bluetooth 5.1 connectivity, enabling easy and efficient multitasking by connecting to up to three devices, such as a computer, phone and tablet, with the ability to switch quickly.

Sophisticated work of art made of metal

The entire metal body is made of 6063 aluminum, which is processed by CNC machining, polished, sandblasted and goes through 24 successive stages of production to create this solid metal work of art, which is Q3 Max.

Hot-swap

Hot-swap sockets are mounted on a PCB, so you can install or replace switches without soldering. The PCB supports both 3-pin and 5-pin MX mechanical switches.

Double seal design

Double seal design is a new, innovative design in the industry. In addition to the seals on the plates, we added silicone pads between the upper and lower housings to significantly reduce acoustic resonance between metals and reduce the noise of impacted metals. This design allows the keyboard to maintain the flexibility of the gasket structure and improves the overall typing sound.

Epic core inside keyboard

The powerful ARM Cortex-M4 (MCU) chip equipped with 256K Flash memory will give developers more flexibility. The polling frequency is 1000 Hz right out of the box in 2,4 GHz and wired mode (90 Hz in Bluetooth mode), which makes the latency barely noticeable even in competitive games.

Switch layouts between macOS and Windows

Built for Mac users while maintaining compatibility with Windows devices, the Keychron Q3 Max keyboard comes with a system switch and an additional set of custom keycaps for Windows and macOS. You can now save two different layouts on your keyboard, one for each system.

Programmable knob

Designed to streamline your creative workflow, the aluminum rotary encoder allows you to easily customize your favorite keys and macros on the knob with VIA software.

The Q3 Max knob can be easily adjusted to the desired keys or macro commands, such as zooming in/out, adjusting screen brightness, brush size, volume, selecting video clips or photos, or backlight shade.

Program Q3 Max with QMK and VIA

With full QMK and VIA support, you can easily program and map each key on your keyboard. Open firmware means endless possibilities for keyboard layouts, shortcuts, backlight effects, and even knobs and more.

Make the Q3 Max key map work on VIA

Since the VIA code for Q3 Max is still awaiting approval by Github, it is not yet automatically recognized. Download the corresponding JSON key map file below, open VIA, turn on the "Show Project tab" in the "Settings" tab, and drag the JSON file to the "Project" tab in VIA to make the Q3 Max key map work in VIA.

South-facing RGB LED lights

The south-facing RGB LED is designed to better illuminate the keyboard backlight for the person typing on the keyboard with PBT keycaps installed. The south-facing RGB LED is also interference-free when users install OEM overlays or alternative Cherry overlays on the keyboard.

Switche Gateron Jupiter

Our exclusive Gateron Jupiter mechanical switch (fully assembled only) features a 3-pin design, is pre-lubricated to Gateron’s reliable quality standard, and has a lifespan of up to 80 million keystrokes. The unique design of the LED diffuser provides high RGB backlight transmittance and a softer backlight effect.

New stabilizers screwed to PCB

The screw-in design increases stability and makes it easier to make changes and updates. Precise workmanship makes the stabilizers more stable and less wobbly. Typing on large keys (space, shift, enter, backspace) is now more stable and smooth. Keychron Q3 Max also supports screw-in PCB stabilizers from other manufacturers.
