Satechi - Type-C Pro Hub Adapter is the perfect USB-C hub companion for your latest MacBook Pro/Air, with multiple ports that easily expand your MacBook's capabilities. With this Hub, you can use the USB-C PD port on your MacBook Pro for direct charging and fast data transfer, all without sacrificing USB 3.0 ports, SD/Micro card reader, 4k HDMI, and Type-C data port.

The Type-C Pro Hub Adapter from Satechi also includes an HDMI port to transfer clear, high-resolution images to a 4k monitor screen. Simply connect the HDMI cable from the Pro Hub adapter to an external monitor to view crystal clear images. Requires a direct HDMI to HDMI connection.

The USB-C PD port (the first USB-C port) supports data transfer rates of up to 40 Gbps through-the-air charging on both 13-inch (61W) and 15-inch (87W) MacBook Pro models. Enjoy excellent 5K video output or connect 2 monitors for crystal clear 4k resolution.

The second Type-C port supports high-speed data transfer rates of up to 5 Gbps. Please note that this port does not support pass-through charging for MacBook Pro.

The adapter is fully compatible with Apple M1. Please note, however, that the latest MacBook Air and Pro with M1 does not support two external monitors.
